Papa CJ’s cutting edge wit & social commentary represents the rising voice of a billion people - fresh and entertaining with a sly sting in the tail. Rumoured to be a direct descendent of the Maharaja of Merebaapkaraj (pronounced Mere-baap-ka-raj) in India, Papa CJ has earned 'street-cred' by repeatedly storming comedy clubs across the globe. He represented India in the audition for Last Comic Standing (Series 6) on NBC.

This star of Paramount Comedy's The World Stands Up has performed in Asia, North America, Europe and Africa...where he headlined the Indian Comedy Festival to rave reviews in 2007. On his ‘home’ circuit in the UK, he has conquered milestone after milestone at an astonishing pace and works in the best comedy clubs in the country. Having tamed intimidating audiences at the Comedy Store in London and successfully closed a rowdy, full-house Late 'n' Live on the final weekend of the Edinburgh Fringe, one reviewer described him as "possessing the energy and attitude of an Indian Chris Rock".
